An autopsy has been ordered into the death of a 2013 Hays High graduate and Texas State football player who passed away Wednesday afternoon.
According to Hays County Precinct No. 2 Justice of the Peace Beth Smith, Will Trevillion, 20, was pronounced dead at 1:43 p.m. Wednesday at his home in Buda.
Smith said a cause is unknown in Trevillion’s death and that an autopsy has been ordered. Smith said no foul play is suspected in Trevillion’s death.

An autopsy has been ordered into the death of a 2013 Hays High graduate and Texas State football player who passed away Wednesday afternoon.
According to Hays County Precinct No. 2 Justice of the Peace Beth Smith, Will Trevillion, 20, was pronounced dead at 1:43 p.m. Wednesday at his home in Buda.
Smith said a cause is unknown in Trevillion’s death and that an autopsy has been ordered. Smith said no foul play is suspected in Trevillion’s death.
Trevillion, who played at Hays under former head coach Blake Feldt, played on the offense and defensive lines for the Hays Rebels.
After graduating from Hays, Trevillion continued his football career at Texas State under head coach Dennis Franchione. According to the Texas State football team website, Trevillion played in 11 total games in 2013 and 2014. During the 2014 campaign, Trevillion recorded nine total tackles and three total stops.
Prior to the 2015 season, Trevillion had opted to switch from defensive tackle to the center position on the offensive line.
