For a second straight month, Kyle’s sales tax numbers increased significantly from what the city brought in during the same month a year previous.

Kyle saw a 20 percent jump in the city’s sales tax numbers from February 2015 to February 2016. The city brought in just over $722,000 in sales taxes in February.

The boost has led Kyle to see the city’s year-to-date sales tax collections rise to 21 percent from 2015 to 2016. Kyle has received $1.2 million in sales taxes ...
