Hays County exports growth lands second in rural area

Hays County’s growth in the field of exports brought the county second only to Williamson County in the latest report from Rural Capital Area’s “Headlights”.
Adjusted for inflation, exports for all industries increased to $544 million in 2014 from $385 million in 2009.
Williamson County led area rural exports with $1.769 billion in 2014, up from $1.183 billion in 2009.
