A San Marcos woman was arrested Wednesday for prostitution following a Hays County Narcotics Task Force investigation after she offered to perform a sexual act on an undercover detective in exchange for money.

According to a Hays County press release, authorities arrested Linan Wang, 59, of San Marcos on one count of Prostitution, which is a Class B misdemeanor. Wang was booked into the Hays County Jail Wednesday and was released Thursday on $2,000 bond.
