Kyle Police are investigating an incident of gunshots reportedly fired along Center Street, near Desperados Dance Hall at 2 a.m. Sunday after an alleged disturbance at the facility.
Kyle police Chief Jeff Barnett said officers responded to the scene after calls were received about a disturbance at the Kyle bar on March 20.
When officers arrived, a large group of people were on the scene, but there were no injuries reported or damage from the alleged gunshots.
Police did an extensive search of the area and interviewed eyewitnesses, but were unable to locate either a person with a gun on the premises. No arrests were made.
Barnett says the incident is disturbing and asks any residents who have any information about the incident to report it to the Kyle Police Department. The non-emergency number for the police department is 512-268-0859.
