Arch was an Army veteran who served in the Korean Conflict. After an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army, he was instrumental in the offshore oil and gas field development in West Africa, Western Australia, the Middle East, and the North Sea. Once retired he used his creative wood working talent to help his daughter design and build frames for her international art gallery with wood gathered from the South Louisiana bayou area. These frames now hang in homes worldwide. He also loved to follow baseball, particularly the EDW Cardinals, Nicholls Colonels, and LSU Tigers, but most of all; he enjoyed the time spent with the family he loved.
