West Travis County PUA issues boil water notice

The West Travis County Public Utility Agency (WTCPUA) has issued a boil water notice for several northwest Hays County neighborhoods after a transmission main break Sunday.

Neighborhoods included in the boil water notice are:

Village of Bear Creek
Bear Creek
Hills of Texas
Friendship Run
Fox Run
Reunion Ranch.

According to the WTCPUA website, the agency began emergency repairs on a 16″ transmission line break Sunday, which led to a water service interruption for several hours. The main delivered ...
