Woman arrested after leading police in chase
A South Texas woman was arrested in early February after she fled from a Kyle Police traffic stop along northbound Interstate 35 and led authorities on a chase that at times reached 100 miles per hour.
Cynthia Lizette Perez, 35, of Zapata, was arrested Feb. 17 for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, which is a state jail felony.
Perez was released from the Hays County Jail Feb. 18 on $5,000 bond.
