Monarch Utilities writing contest

Monarch Utilities, a subsidiary of SouthWest Water Company that provides water services in Hays County, will hold its second annual writing contest for all Chapa Middle School students in the Hays CISD.

To participate, students must submit a 400-to-600-word essay discussing the importance of water in their life, the community, the state or the world today. Essays will be anonymously scored by a panel of English/Language Arts teachers. For more information on the c...
