The Lobo varsity tennis team opened the fall season Saturday with two dual matches against Connally and Killeen.

The Lobos, however, couldn’t hold off Connally as they fell 13-6 in the opening dual match of the season.

While Lehman graduated four of its top five girls last year, three freshmen proved their tenacity, earning their spot on varsity this season.

Without even having stepped in a high school classroom yet, freshmen Mady Mireles and BB Thomsen earned a 8-6 doubles win.
