Clucking good times at annual chicken dinner
The sounds of country music and the crispy crunch of fried chicken made its way to the Claiborne Kyle Log House Saturday for the annual fundraiser which goes toward upkeep of the historic site. The double pen dogtrot log house was the home of Lucy Bugg and Claiborne Kyle, who built the home in 1850. The residence housed Fergus Kyle, who is the namesake of the city.
