UPDATE – 10:35 a.m. May 28 

Authorities have identified the victim in Sunday’s fatal hit-and-run as John William Lyon, 53, of Kyle, according to Hays County Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace Beth Smith.

Kyle Police is continuing to investigate the hit-and-run and are searching for a charcoal gray Kia vehicle that may have been involved.
