Authorities are continuing to investigate a fatal two-vehicle wreck that occurred early Saturday morning along RM 967 near Buda.

The incident happened around 8:10 a.m. Sept. 8 in the 4000 block of RM 967. According to Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) officials, a 2003 Acura sedan was traveling east on RM 967 when it drove off the road to the right to make a U-turn.

DPS officials said the driver of the Acura turned “when unsafe” and was struck by a 2001 Volvo truck.
