Texans fall to Panthers

Wimberley had a hard time stopping Navarro running backs. The visiting Panthers put 21 points on the board in the first quarter and led 35-14 at the half. The Texans scored twice in the third quarter but were shut out in the fourth and lost 56-28. Left, Wimberley quarterback Colby Boyle gets good protection from teammates Colin Kincaid and Blake Lubkuecher making a block. Boyle completed 12 of 21 passes for 120 yards. The Texans travel to take on Llano at 7:30 on November 2.
