Lady Tigers are district champs

By virtue of a 71-24 win over Austin Reagan Feb. 5, the Dripping Springs Lady Tiger basketball team (23-12, 13-1) secured the 2019 25-5A district title. The accomplishment marked the first time in more than a decade Dripping Springs had claimed a district championship, whether outright or shared. The win over Reagan marked the team’s 12th win in a row dating back to the Lake Travis Tournament in December. Dripping Springs Tuesday opened its playoff run with a bidistrict game against San Antonio Wagner.
