Edward Charles Hobert “Ted” went to be with his heavenly Father unexpectedly on May 27, 2019 in Kyle, Texas.
Ted was born in Joliet, Illinois on June 18, 1956 to Robert and Louise Hobert. In 1972 his family moved to Colorado where Ted graduated from Cherry Creek High School in 1975. In 2002 he and Dashelle relocated to Kyle Texas and had their beloved son Zac.
Ted was an excellent house painter. He worked for many years in retail and most recently worked at Seton Hays Hospital’s Cafeteria.
Ted loved playing Bingo, Natural Light, eating, sitting on the porch, talk radio and anything involving his son Zac. Ted is preceded in death by his mother Louise Cecily Carter and his father Robert Edward Hobert. He is survived by his sons Blake and Zachary Hobert, brothers Pete (Judy) and Rick (Nancy) Hobert, as well as his sisters Beverly Martin and Mary Lou Dunbar along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Please join us in celebrating Ted’s remarkable life on Sunday, June 2nd, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Seton Hays Hospital Chapel, 6001 Kyle Pkwy, Kyle, Texas. Following his celebration of life, a reception will be held at The Overlook at Plum Creek, 4850 Cromwell, in Kyle.
