Buda city leaders June 18 gave the green light to changes within its water conservation ordinance.

Those changes, approved by a 7-0 vote, will go into effect immediately.

Blake Neffendorf, Buda Water Resources coordinator, said in a statement the city made changes to Stage 2 restrictions after a review of water production data in 2018 showed no major difference in water consumption between Stage 1 and Stage 2.
