Orchestra standouts earn Region 18 spots

A pair of Wallace Middle School band members earned spots in the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Region 18 Orchestra. Ibett Martinez-Tapia (flute) and Paul Alvarado (trumpet) made the cut after multiple rounds of auditions over the past few weeks. Martinez-Tapia and Alvarado were only two of four students selected to the orchestra in their respective sections.
