A possible cockfighting operation is under investigation by the Hays County Sheriff’s Office, though no arrests have been made.

According to Lt. Dennis Gutierrez, deputies responded to an address off Rolling Hills in Buda about possible cruelty to animals and discovered evidence that led them to believe “cockfighting may have been occurring.”
