Bobby graduated from Dora High School in Alabama where he loved playing football. Joining the Air Force took him to Austin, Texas where he met the love of his life, Alice. They were married on July 1st, 1952. After various jobs Bobby found his passion working for the Austin Police Department. Bobby and Alice were members of the Driftwood Methodist Church and an active part of the Driftwood community center. Bobby loved to garden and for many years shared his harvest with friends and family. Bobby and Alice always looked forward to hosting their opening day deer season party with family and friends. Bobby loved to fish, hunt, shoot guns, and go out to eat with his policeman buddies like Gerald Raines, Bill Ligon, Bull Billberry, Phil Suitt, Lawrence Luker, Jay Spencer, and Jerry Brinkoeter to name a few.
