Jerome Edward Paisley peacefully passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020.
Jerome is survived by his daughter Kimberly Clemons, son Kent Paisley, and sister Joanne Novak. Jerome Paisley was a loving father, husband, and friend to everyone. He was born in Batavia, New York, and shortly after, his family moved to Seguin, Texas where he grew up. After graduating from Seguin High School, he attended Arkansas College where he pursued a degree in ministry. After college, he moved back to Texas to work for Dun & Bradstreet and this is where he met his beautiful wife, Patricia. During their adventures they moved with their jobs to Birmingham, Alabama and there, fulfilled their dreams of a family by adopting their children, Kent and Kimberly. Jerry and Pat returned to Texas to raise their family and eventually retire in the beautiful town of Wimberley.
Many who knew him called him “Jerry.” He was a man of very few words. When he spoke, we listened! There were words of wisdom to be heard and then there were some one-liners that would make you laugh so hard! We will miss both! Jerry enjoyed watching sports, especially football, and cheering on his Arkansas Razorbacks and Dallas Cowboys.
We want to extend our sincerest gratitude to the staff at Legend Oaks for their love and care for their patient and friend, Mr. Paisley.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 19th, 2020 at the Harrell Funeral Home of Kyle, Texas from 2-4 PM.
