A member of the Hays CISD’s Facilities and Bond Oversight Committee (FBOC) was arrested earlier this month on charges of family violence.

Matthew Ocker, 42, of Buda was arrested by the Hays County Sheriff’s Office Feb. 3 on charges of assault/family violence and injury to a child, both third-degree felonies. He was released from custody the next day on bonds totaling $20,000, as set by Justice of the Peace Pct. 1, Place 2 Maggie Moreno.
