Hays County property owners have until May 15 to file a Notice of Protest against the appraised value notifications that most received in early April; however this year the process of protesting has been changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rather than in person, hearings with the Appraisal Review Board (ARB) will be conducted via teleconferencing, the Hays County Appraisal District says.
