A “suspicious device” found at a work site along the route of Kinder Mortan’s Permian Highway Pipeline (PHP) Tuesday has been “neutralized,” and residents evacuated from the nearby area have been allowed to return home.

According to Sgt. Deon Cockrell of the Department of Public Safety, local, state and federal agencies were on the site at Chimney Valley Road in Blanco County.
