BUDA – The Buda Police Department is investigating a hit and run accident which resulted in the death of 67-year-old Viola Garcez.

On Saturday, Oct, 10, officers were dispatched to the H-E-B at 15300 Interstate 35, Buda, for a motor vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic accident. Upon arrival, officers learned Viola Garcez was struck in the middle of the crosswalk by a male subject driving a grey Chevrolet Silverado which had fled the scene heading south bound on the frontage road.
