Lady Lobo powerlifting dominate at state

KYLE — Fifteen Lehman Lady Lobos ranked in the top five at the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association (THSWPA) state meet on Thursday, with six ladies leading the state by an average of 121 pounds. Ashley Villanueva, Alyssa Martinez, Kaitlin Diers, Brooke Davenport, Karla Olmedo and Malia Gonzales all ranked first. Four ladies ranked second, two ranked third, two ranked fourth and one ranked fifth. Results from the Lobo boys powerlifting team have not been updated.
