Rene “El Chango” Martinez Sr, 69 (1951-2021) of San Marcos, Tx was called into our Lord on March 9, 2021.
Viewing will be held on March 12th, 2021 at Harrell Funeral Home of Kyle at 4pm-5pm for family and 5pm-7pm for friends and family. Funeral Service will be held on March 13th, 2021 at 10am.
Rene Martinez Sr was born on April 19th, 1951 in Port Isabel, Tx.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Rosa Sandoval Martinez, daughter Irene Martinez, his parents David and Rosa Martinez, brothers Guadalupe Martinez Sr, David Martinez Jr, Elida Hunt and Great Grandson Harrison Quintez King Jr.
Rene Sr. is survived by son Rene Martinez Jr (Veronica) Austin, Tx, daughter Barbara Ann Garza (Alberto “Porky”) Rockvale, Tennessee, daughter Cynthia Ann Martinez (Gerardo) San Marcos, Tx, son Roel Martinez (Naomi) Kyle, Tx, brothers Rosendo “Chen” Martinez, Abelardo “Lalo” Martinez, sisters Alma Leos, Rosa “Rosie” Martinez, Ernestina “Tina” Percero, Juanita Vergara.
Grandchildren: Ashley Renee Garza, April Justine Martinez, Bianca Monique Garza, Jordan David Mora, Adrian Rene Martinez, Sabrina Lynn Mora, Albert Garza Jr, Felysha Rose Martinez, Manuel Joseph Martinez, Roel Martinez Jr, Zoey Lynn Martinez, Elijah Walker Martinez, Noelle Irene Martinez.
Great-grandchildren: Jayden Isaac Garza, Ezequiel Alberto Vasquez, Michael Andres Castro, Priscilla Ann Vasquez, Mia Rae Mora, Amelia Rose Cabrera, Ray Isaiah King, Selena Alani ‘Rose Garza and numerous nieces, nephews, great nephews and great nieces all of which he loved so dearly.
