Tiger boys soccer are district champs, 5th in state

The Dripping Springs Boys soccer team (20-0-3) is now ranked 5th in the state after clinching the district championship on Tuesday March 16. The Tigers hosted the Seguin Matadors. The Tigers were very strong on defense and had plenty of great offense. DSHS outscored the Matadors 8 to 1. Left is junior Enrique Alvarez (#9) attempting to outmaneuver the Matador goalie, but Alvarez was unable to convert, but still a great effort by both players.

The Tigers will begin playoffs on Friday March 26 at 7:30 p.m. when they will be hosting the Rouse Raiders from Leander.
