9/28/21: Hays CISD and DSISD COVID cases and classroom closures

Below is information regarding active COVID-19 cases and classroom closures in Hays CISD and Dripping Springs ISD. This post will be updated weekly using information provided by the districts. More information can be found on Hays CISD’s COVID dashboard and DSISD’s COVID dashboard.

Hays CISD active COVID-19 cases

This table reflects the number of active staff and student COVID-19 cases as reported daily between Tuesday, Sept. 21 and Monday, Sept. 27, excluding weekends. An active case reflects a student or staff member who has tested positive for the virus and was on a Hays CISD campus while infected.

Hays CISD classroom closures

This table reflects classrooms in Hays CISD that have active COVID-19 cases and have moved to remote conferencing as of Tuesday, Sept. 28. The district uses a 10% positive case count per week threshold to place a classroom or campus on remote conferencing status.

Dripping Springs ISD active COVID-19 cases

This table reflects the current number of active staff and student COVID-19 cases as of Monday, Sept. 27. An active case reflects a student or staff member who has tested positive for the virus and was on a DSISD campus while infected.
