Financial Literacy Night at ACC Hays

KYLE — Keeping Communities Connected (KCC) is partnering with Austin Community College (ACC) and Concordia to host Financial Literacy Night at the ACC Hays Campus in Kyle. Seniors and/or parents are invited to attend the event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8.

Seniors who RSVP will be entered in a chance to win a door prize from Best Buy, Academy, Target or Starbucks. The door prizes will be drawn every 15 minutes. Space is limited to 50 students.

Seniors will also have the opportunity to apply for a KCC scholarship for up to $2,000 toward their college or career.

Megan Navarro (Wehring) graduated from Texas State University in May 2020 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication. In June 2020, she started a summer internship at the Hays Free Press/News-Dispatch through the Dow Jones News Fund and Texas Press Association.
