Her Marriage and Family
In February 1977, she was united in holy matrimony with Henry Washington and to this union; two children were born Trisha Lynn Rollman and Nicole Ehigie. After that union dissolved she later married Charles Coleman on May 9th 2001 to this union she gained 5 children Tammy Coleman, Yolanda Coleman, Elton Coleman, Alexis Washington, and Charles Coleman Jr.
Salvation
Verlene accepted Christ in her life at an early age. She was very active in the church. She was a long time member and received her salvation in the C.O.G.I.C and later joined Greater solid Rock with her husband Bishop Charles Coleman

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Charles Coleman five daughters Trisha (husband: Christopher) Rollman; Nicole Ehigie; Tammy Coleman, Yolanda Coleman, Alexis (Husband: Calvin) Washington, two sons Elton Coleman, Charles (wife Erica) Coleman Jr. two sisters Faye Gindratt; Barbara Richardson one brother CL Wickware Eight grandchildren: DeSyre, Taylen, Demarion, Adonijah Chrystal, Fayth, Brooklyn, Mayson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father: Enoch and Lucille Wickware. Sisters: Joyce Washington, Alice Tucker, Coltilda Glenn, Carolyn Lawson, Annabelle Wickware, brothers: Vernell Wickware, Enoch Wickware jr., David Wickware, John amos and baby boy Wickware.
How do you describe a beautiful soul, ones whose hand could nurture and heal your soul? Our mother was the essence of true beauty and love. She was kind, giving, and incredible selfless. She was a peacemaker and provider. She cared about people and was always encouraging others to love the Lord.
