Tigers win Bi-District and advance to Area Playoffs

DRIPPING SPRINGS – Dripping Springs High School swept the Georgetown Patriots from East View High School (2-0) in the UIL 5A softball bi-district Playoffs. The Tigers won game 1 on Thursday night at Eastview High School. 

The Tigers won game 1 with a score of 8-2. Game 2 was played at Tiger Stadium before a large home crowd on Friday night. The final score was Tigers 4 and Eastview High School 0. Pictured is Tiger Jr. #14 Jordan Cox who pitched a perfect game and 5 strikeouts. 

The Tigers advanced to the area UIL tournament which will be played this week. The opponent and location are yet to be determined.
