Texas unemployment rate declining

Texas continues to hit new highs as the unemployment rate declined to 4.3%, while the number of non-farm jobs added reached 13,284,500 this April. This is the sixth consecutive month of growth, with 62,800 non-agricultural jobs added in April 2022 and 742,000 new positions created since April last year.
