DSHS graduate Adam Knutson was named an All-American for his 2021-2022 soccer season.

The All-American teams recognize student athletes who compete in the sport during the winter or spring seasons.

Knutson and Dill were among 65 student athletes to earn the honor nationally. Knutson was the only boy to repeat as an All-American.

In 2022, Knutson set a school record with 95 points and tied the record for goals with 38 to lead the Tigers to their first appearance in the state championship game. He was named District 26-5A Midfielder of the Year, a first-team all-state selection, and an academic all-state honoree. He finished his career as the school record holder with 81 goals and 198 points. Knutson will continue his playing career at Trinity University in San Antonio.

Dill put together another stellar season between the goalposts to guide the Lady Tigers to the regional finals. In 27 games, Dill and the Dripping Springs defense allowed just nine goals with 18 shutouts. She was named a first-team all-district honoree and was selected to the all-state honorable mention team.

In addition to Knutson and Dill, rising sophomore Ellie Hodsden, rising senior Riley Sisson, and recent graduate Javier Ortega were named to the all-region team. Hodsden was one of just two freshman girls to be named to the squad.
