The Buda Economic Development Corporation, Buda Area Chamber of Commerce and city of Buda held a Buda Business Appreciation event on Jan. 27 at Buda City Hall. The event provided an opportunity for Buda businesses to network and be recognized for their achievements. Among the recognition included certificates for 143 Buda businesses celebrating their years of service, from five years to 45 years. The community was also able to nominate their favorite businesses across nine categories to receive an award, and over 250 nominations were submitted.
