Connie attended Crockett High School and worked at Mama’s Muffins in Dripping Springs where she honed the baking skills she learned from her mother. She served as a Corrections Officer in Hays County from 1990 – 1995 where she was recognized in 1993 as Corrections Officer of the Year. She was the longest running 1st lady of Dripping Springs while Todd served as Mayor from 2002 to 2020.
She married Todd 35 years ago in September of 1988. In 1995, Connie found her true calling as a mother when Tyler was born. Justin came along in 1997 and added a daughter on March 11, 2023 when he married Grace.
She loved to read, cook, listen to music, go to the beach, hang out with her soul sister and partner-in-crime, Kelli Tucker, and cut up with “boyfriend”, Trey Tucker. It has been said Connie had one hobby. That hobby was her husband and sons. Connie wasn’t a fisherman but she loved to out fish Todd and reminded him regularly “Fish are everywhere!”
The family would like to thank the staff of Bluebonnet Palliative Care and Melissa Wells for the love and care they have shared with Connie, her family and friends.
We’re all going to miss Connie’s beautiful smile and that raised eyebrow when you did something she didn’t approve of.
