On November 25th, 2023, our beloved Dad, husband, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend Antonio Aguilar, Jr., transitioned to heaven to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
A devoted husband of 61 years and father of four, his unwavering commitment to his family will be dearly missed.
Antonio’s earthly journey began on June 18, 1937, in El Paso, Texas. He was born to Antonio Aguilar, Sr., and Maria Quintana. He was later blessed with a brother, Oscar Jaime Aguilar.
Antonio was a graduate of Jefferson High School. His long career as an Auto Body Repair Specialist began at Ralph’s Auto Garage, which ensued by a position with the El Paso Independent School District as a foreman in the Auto Body Repair shop, where he retired. He also taught welding at a local trade school.
A devoted Christian man with unwavering faith, he lovingly focused on working hard to provide for his family and set an incredible work ethic for his children to follow. He shared a love for camping and fishing with his children and grandchildren, who now carry on those interests. With his calm personality and inherited sense of humor, he was a treasure to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He left a warm and loving impression on all.
He is preceded in heavenly transition by his parents and brother, and with them, is now experiencing the full grace of God.
Antonio is survived by his wife and soul mate, Blanca Luz Delgado Aguilar, his four children, Patricia Aguilar Beam, Maria Antonietta Aguilar Lavdas, Laura Aguilar, Alejandro Aguilar, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
We would like to thank Cella Bella’s Senior Hospice Services for their dedication and exceptional care during his final days.
A service in his loving memory will be held on December 16th, 2023, at Pennington Funeral Home,
323 N. Comanche St., San Marcos, Texas. Visitation will be from 1-2:00pm and Memorial service at 2:00pm
