Victoria Mendez, age 81, passed away on January 12, 2024, in Austin, TX. She was born on January 12, 1943, in Prairie Lea, TX.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years Gabriel S. Mendez, her children Gabriel Mendez, Jr. (Judith), Mary A. Moreno, Betty A. Rivera, Rosa L. Tucar (Pedro), and Norma Mendez, her 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Saturnino and Jacinta Mendez, her brothers Catarino Mendez and Santos Mendez, and grandson, Oscar G. Rivera, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24th from 5pm to 7pm and rosary from 7pm to 8pm, Harrell Funeral Home 1715 Kirby Kyle, TX 78640. Mass will be held Thursday, January 25th at 10am, St. Anthony Marie de Claret Catholic Church, 801 Burleson Street Kyle, TX 78640. Burial will be at 11:15am, San Juan Cemetery 2053 FM 1984 Reedville, TX 78656.
