Franklin D. Herzog
Franklin D. Herzog passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 91. He was born to Louis H. and Jewel Whisenant Herzog on July 14, 1933, in Driftwood, Texas.
Frank married the love of his life and his best fishing buddy, Ella Randow Herzog, on June 8, 1956, in San Marcos. They did everything together for 59 years before her passing in 2015. He worked as a meter technician for Southern Union Gas Company in Austin until his retirement in 1993.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ella Bertha (Tootie) Randow Herzog; his brothers, Ernest Herzog, Herman Herzog, and Melvin Herzog; and sisters, Mildred Biddy and Jewel (Grace) Limmer.
Frank is survived by his brothers Johnny Herzog of Temple, Texas and Bobby Herzog of San Antonio, Texas, as well as many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Kyle Cemetery.
