  Joel Rodriguez, don't think so, as that is not what he said. I guess you missed the part that Hays Co. DA stated “continue to deal with those cases as justice requires, as well as any additional charges under the new law.” Stop trying to create your own narrative by putting words in his mouth. Another issue you missed was the part of the actual bill that states the new Hemp law will not go into effect until TX Dept of Ag creates the rules on how to institute this new law. However, it was pointed out to me that I did forget to add in my comment above the Kyle council member, who is also Hays County Chief of Staff, Alex Villalobos, along with the fact he is also a new county constable. Oh…….and let’s not forget the Becerra was supposed to name him as the new Hays County Emergency Management Coordinator. With one job with City of Kyle and his THREE NEW JOBS with the county since January, he took the same oath as everyone else did….TWICE.

  I guess you missed the part of the article where the DA is going to treat hemp the same as marijuana?
